In typical BW fashion, he explains the 'why' rather than the 'what'. The video is done in a very clean, simple manner that makes understanding the concepts very easy.

He goes from explaining the context of 3bet pots, to defining player types and how they affect our decisions. He covers how to play 3bet pots yourself and how to combat 3bettors, then offers some more context with respect to squeezing, deepstacked play, and finally a bit on HU play.

Solid video, albeit a bit pricey and a bit buggy, but well worth it imo.

I am "neonsolen" on Decuescracked and I was part of this seminar.

The seminar was set up really nice - All the students were on "mute", so we heard only Balugawhale talking.
And when a student had a question, he could either just type it in the chat or press "raise a hand" in the program and get "un-muted", and talk directly to Baluga for all of us to heard.

The topic of the seminar was about playing in 3 bet pots. Both IP and OOP.
Baluga came up with some really nice things. I know I leard some eye opening things. "New" ways to play AK, playing vs polarized and depolaried ranges, and much more..

There is no doubt that this seminar will be beneficial to a lot of players. From beginners to regulars at midstakes.
And the topic of the video is probably the most important topic for most players. Playing good poker in 3 bet pots cannot be emphasized enough

Its highly recommended!

Andrew's "How to Play 3-bet Pots" is a comprehensive treatment on 3-betting. He covers in position, out of position, playing with polarized and depolarized ranges. He helps you think about how to construct your range given stack sizes, player dynamics, and position. Most importantly, he gives a thorough look at playing post-flop, an area that is completely lacking in the instructional community. Even as a microstakes player (25nl), I was easily able to incorporate the ideas into my game. I had a new mindset when I was being 3-bet (or was choosing to 3-bet) my opponents, and I found I was able to adjust to my opponents almost instantly based on a lot of the information gathered from this lecture. The Q&A at the end also answered some questions that I had (apparently the audience had the same questions), and help fill in any missing gaps. For the price of a single 25nl buy-in, or even 2.5BI at 10nl, this is easily worth its price for 105 minutes of Andrew's signature clarity of thought.

I have always liked Baluga's coaching methods on DC so when I noticed he had a seminar available on DV I insta-purchased it. Especially since it was only $27, I figured even if I didn't get much from it then it wouldn't matter much since it was so cheap. Well the video is severely under priced because there is a lot of info jam packed in its 2 hour duration.

It covers everything from being the aggressor to defending against 3bets. It discusses polarized and depolarized ranges and the appropriate adjustments for each. I found the Q & A section to be the most helpful because it was interesting to hear how fellow players think and what questions they asked.
Overall I think there is something in this seminar for anybody and would recommend it to anyone.

I was really struggling with playing 3 bet pots. When I saw this seminar, I was hesitant to purchase it in fear that it would be too basic or really short. I took the plunge and bought it, and I was very happy I did. This seminar had exactly the information I was looking for...and more.
One concept that I was struggling with was adjusting my value 3bet range and my light 3 bet range. After watching this video, I now understand how to adjust each based on my opponent's style. I find that I now have a greater confidence when playing 3 bet pots. Whatever aspect of 3 bet pots you happen to be struggling with, I'm sure it is covered in this video and it is covered extremely well.
In general, I really like the way that Baluga explains things. He seems to have a knack for cutting right to the heart of an issue so that you can easily understand what is going on and what to do about it. This seminar is no exception. Every aspect of 3 bet pots that is covered is done in a way that helps you gain a real deep understanding of the issues in 3 bet pot situations. I highly recommend this seminar.
