The Poker Blueprint and other updates
The Poker Blueprint What up guys!

I hope everyone ended the year with a bang. I know I did. Sadly, the new year hasn't been very pleasant. It'll come around though so it's all good.

I have a lot of things planned in the upcoming months so I'll just go one by one. We will be releasing two books in the upcoming months. First off is The Poker Blueprint (110 pages at the moment) written by Aaron Davis and me. Target release date is Feb 15th. For those of you who don't know Aaron, he's a student of mine for the past year and have put a lot of effort into his game. I'm not surprised that all his hard work is paid off. Our goal with The Poker Blueprint is to give readers an introductory to online no-limit holdem with a few advance strategies. Those who previously read Let There Be Range and The NL Workbook will probably find The Poker Blueprint less advanced. The reason is simple. It's geared towards 100nl and lower. I think we achieved that goal and cannot wait for its release date.

The second book that will be coming out is my psychology book. A lot of people have expressed interest in this book and I hope I deliver. The writing process so far for this book is really tough. There are so many ways to attack the topic and I think after two months of pulling my hair, I think I finally figured out the way to do it. There's still a lot of work needed to be done though. Like my previous books, writing this psychology book made me realized how much I need to work on. Often times we are so caught up with the improving the technical side of the game that we neglect our mental game. There are a lot of small things we can do on the side to give ourselves a higher chance to succeed but we don't do it.

As I was putting the rough draft together, my body was aching all over. The reason is since I rarely feel stress in my brain anymore due to my high school and college experience, my body is taking all the pain. I could barely think straight and felt burnt out. I usually go to a deep tissue massage parlor to get rid of this ache but the ache would just come back a few days later. Then I realized I haven't run in the park for a while. One of the reason why I bought my house at this particular location is because it's next to a park. At the very least, it will encourage me to run a couple of laps per month. I have been very lazy so far in regarding to exercising. Being busy is never an excuse. So I went outside and ran for a little bit. I'm so pumped and motivated right now so I'm writing this.

I'm also in the process of getting printed copies for all our books. The NL Workbook is the first in line. The process has taken a while but the finish is almost here. I can't wait!

I'm heading to Mexico (Cabo and Laz Paz) to visit some friends for a few days this week. My friend Jeff has everything all planned out so all I have to do is show up and say yes to anything he throws at me. That's my philosophy when it comes to going out and traveling. After that, I might join them in Thailand at the beginning of March and then visit Japan/Philippines/China for the Asian swing. I have to see how much work I get done before March but it will likely take place.

Until next time, please run hot for me. Thanks.
