Yesterday and Tomorrow

I realized that since my graduation in 2006, I haven't travel much. I will do a lot of that in 2009. I don't even like traveling. It's for the sake of traveling before I get too old. Most likely, I will backpack since it's more fun and less costly than staying at nice hotels.

One important thing I learned last year is independent thinking. You have to go with your guts. After all, your current place in society isn't too bad and you got to where you are by your decision making. Believe in yourself. The worst thing that can happen is you'll be wrong and you get to learn from it. The best thing that can happen is unlimited. There's no price for confidence.

I should have more goals and plans but I find life boring that way. I like to have a big picture and I try to improve myself so I can make that picture become a reality. I don't pay attention to the small details, though that doesn't mean I'm not OCD about certain things. I try to do a lot of things to the best of my abilities and try to read as much as possible. Eventually, things will fall in place. Maybe I have been running good in life but who says heaters don't last a lifetime.

I will dedicate 2009 to PLO. I think having the ability to transition from one game to another speaks volume of the way you think about poker. Hopefully, I'll have a nice brag post.

Good luck and if you haven't, do something for your family and love ones to show you care about them. A card with something written in it goes a long way.
