Multitasking

... is something I am horrible at.

I can only do one thing at a time and my performance degrades if I try to juggle two things at once. This is the main reason why I dislike change. Because now I have to shut down everything else so I can adapt to the new environment.

I have been holding off taking my financial advisor exam. I studied and was ready to take it before Memorial Weekend of last year. Then gf dragged me to Vegas with her grandparents for the weekend so I couldn't take it at home. Undeterred, I brought my studying materials with me to Vegas and went as far as searching for a testing center there. I obviously didn't study while I was in Vegas. Then the WSOP arrived and I stayed there until late July. I came back and started coaching and wrote the book and now the WSOP is a few months away and I'm back to square one.

I need to take this damn exam. I know it's always going to be in the back of my mind if I don't take it. The problem is, things keep popping up and due to my inability to multitask, I haven't study for
it at all.

When I run well, I play lots and lots. When I run bad, I'm not exactly in the mood to study so I end up reading random stuffs or sit there and write random poker articles. PLO is getting annoyed so I'm writing a few poker articles for introductory levels. It's going well and once I finish them, I will resume coaching.
